This one really puzzled me. I wouldn't have expected this gentleman to ride that bike, let alone lift his leg up that high and balance himself while he adjusted his bandage. I couldn't do that and I consider myself as an active person. I can't see him practicing every morning either. Notice how the bike is not tilted and the handlebars are dead straight? He did that looking at my...

My journey in India comes to an end, but before I go I had to do what was necessary. I had to see this place in person in all its glory. It meant I had to stay awake for 2 days straight due to a very busy schedule and make it in time just before my flight. They say an image speaks louder than words. I will let this one speak for itself.

I remember little shops like this at a village where my uncle lived when I was only 6. But to think places like this still exist really took me back. Back then when I saw a foreigner from overseas I used to try and imagine what the world would be like on the other end. It's mind blowing living life on the other end knowing exactly what this child is thinking. However with the pow...

From what I remember. She did not give a crap about the size of his danda (stick).

Here's a totally different meaning of YOLO. (You only live once). I wondered how many accidents happen like this. After all it will only take one pot hole in the ground to knock some off the back. Had one of these guys fell off the truck, our driver would not have had enough time to make timely adjustments. We were doing at least 25 mph. What amazed me even more was when all four...

This guy's not only driving on the wrong side of the road. He has no drivers licence. No seatbelt on and definitely no M.O.T. How is it that a drivers licence is needed to operate a vehicle you have full control over (car), yet it's ok to commute on something so unpredictable. I'm struggling to understand whether this is good for our planet or bad? One thing is for sure though: w...

Beautiful architecture in Punjab Ludhiana

November 22, 2016

It's shocking how much Punjab has changed since I was last here in 2005. What's even more amazing is when you see new structures built right next the old. I mean, the comparison is phenomenal. It's almost as if I had stepped through a time warp machine at some point. It's something you have to experience in person. I try to exhibit my thoughts in the best possible way I can think...

I'm in India (Punjab) people! On my way to the hotel in Ludhiana, I asked our driver to take me to a discreet eating place. He took me to Patwari Vaishno Dhaba in Pragpur Village. All these people you see in this image are the restaurant workers. The time is 17:25. This image depicts sheer competition in Punjab. Workers on standby at command. This place put up lights to attract m...
