Tan & Maihma | Pre-Wedding Shoot, Harrow School, London

Most people have never been in front of a camera before their pre-wedding shoot, and that's completely fine. A big part of my job is making sure you don't feel like you're being photographed at all. With Tan and Maihma, by the time we'd moved through the chapel steps and into the stunning wood-panelled halls of Harrow School, any nerves had long gone. What was left was just the two of them, completely themselves, in a space that happened to be extraordinary.

That's what twenty years of shooting people does. You learn when to give direction and when to just let a moment breathe.
